Existing Cyclones in the Eastern Region:

Potential Cyclones:

There are currently no significant lows in the region and none are expected to develop before the weekend. A surge in southeasterly winds off the central Queensland coast on the weekend could lead to the formation of a tropical low further to the north. The likelihood of it becoming a tropical cyclone is Low on Sunday and Monday.
