Updated Tropical Cyclone Outlook for Coral Sea

Existing Cyclones in the Eastern Region:

Potential Cyclones:


A tropical low was located well away from the Queensland coast near 18.4S 157.7E at 10am AEST Friday. It is moving southeast and further away from the coast and will be east of the Australian region (160E) overnight. It is not expected to be a tropical cyclone in the Australian region.

The system will not have any direct impacts on the Queensland coast or islands.
