Tropical Cyclone Outlook for Coral Sea

Existing Cyclones in the Eastern Region:

Potential Cyclones:


There are currently no significant tropical lows in the region. The monsoon trough is likely to become active across the north during the weekend. Transient tropical lows may develop along the trough in the Gulf of Carpentaria and over the far eastern Coral Sea region by late weekend. The lows are expected to be weak and not develop into a cyclone in the next seven days.
