There are no significant systems in the region and none are expected to develop in the next seven days.

However, at 10am AEST Saturday, Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle, category 2, was located in the New Zealand area of responsibility near -27.6 165.6. It is currently moving to the east southeast at 25 kilometres per hour and is forecast to impact Norfolk Island today and Sunday.
