Tropical Cyclone Outlook for Coral Sea

Existing Cyclones in the Eastern Region:

Potential Cyclones:


There are no significant tropical lows in the region. A weak low may form in the far northeast of the region southwest of the Solomon Islands by Friday. At this stage it will likely move out of the region over following days. By next Tuesday or Wednesday (18-19 April) this system may move back into the region with some chance of developing. The risk of it being a tropical cyclone increases to Low next Wednesday 19 April.
