Tropical Cyclone Outlook for the Northern Region, including the Gulf of Carpentaria

Existing Cyclones in the Northern Region:

Potential Cyclones:


At 2pm ACST Sunday 7 January, Ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie was located well inland about 130 km southeast of Rabbit Flat and expected to weaken.

There are no other significant tropical lows in the region and none are expected to develop in the next seven days.
