Tropical Cyclone Outlook for the Western Region

Issued at 2:00 pm WST on Tuesday 28 February 2023
for the period until midnight WST Friday 3 March 2023.

Existing Cyclones in the Western Region:

Nil.

Potential Cyclones:


There are currently no significant tropical systems in the region.

Tropical Low 16U was located to the east of region near 16.1S 129.6E at 2pm WST Tuesday 28 February. It is expected to remain over land as it moves east further away from the region in the next 7 days.

No other significant lows are expected in the next seven days.
