Aiyota is one of the densest, most urban countries in the world, with nearly a fifth of its population living in the capital region. 43.95% live of all Aiyoti residents live in the top six largest cities (Vikasa, Akarine, Aisicio, Azuò, Ciulo and Kyintan Yang). The reason for this is because outside of the coast-hugging mountains is a dangerous land full of ten trillion mosquitoes the size of bears that will rip out your liver to lay its young in.

Akarine is Aiyota's second largest city at over 25 million people. It is located in the Akarine Autonomous Area shared between Aeridani and Aiyota. There are ~6 million on the Aeridanish side. For nearly all of its history it has been a bustling port, and today is no exception with, at over 600,000 tonnes of cargo passing through annually, it being the biggest port in Arioko and one of the biggest in universalis.

==Economy==
Up to 60% of Aiyota's economic output comes from Yoka Tse, colloquially known as "u'kanhuqírse aiyotavel" ( "the sweatshop of Aiyota"), as minimum wage in Yoka Tse is 0.10 Dorushi/Hour, it is home to 24 million people, 17 million of which live on less then 0.80 dorushi/day (this translates to about $1.60).It has been titled a disaster zone due to severe pollution, restricted human rights, next-to-slave labour, amongst many other things. The level of heavy metals in Aharbik bay (which the main industrial centres are located) is now so high that mercury can be detected as far away as the east coast of the main island. The population of the area is hard to tell due to the large amount of slums, but the largest city (Ansebúlun) is estimated to have ~120,000 inhabitants. There is approximately 1000 cities (with an average population of 24,000)

Yoka Tse by world standards is average, however in Aiyota it is simultaneously the worst state to live and the best state for corporations. While the region allows pay below national minimum wage, it has one of the largest per capita economies of all the Aiyoti states & subdivisions, making nearly $2.43 trillion dollars for a region with 24 million people. It also has a bad record of breaches of Environmental Policies No. 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10A, 10B, 10C-1.2, 27, and 34C-1.7. As well as breaking numerous Aiyoti Human Treatment Laws, Sea Regulations, and Supplying Illicit Drugs. The cities all overflow and merge into one another forming one massive agglomeration, however the largest official city is Ansebulún - with a population of 180,000 in the core and a further 320,000 in the [[Subdivision of Ansebulún uyu Qásyu]].

There have been plans to "Fix" the area by introducing more sustainable techniques to manufacture products, and increase the minimum wage to the national standard (4.00 dorushi/hour*), which is 40 times more than the current minimum wage. However this could endanger Aiyota's Industrial capabilities, stunting its recent economic growth.

Aiyota went through a civil war involving three main powers (Yoka Tse, Vikasani Aiyota and Saghi-Saktani Empire) and many smaller puppet and vassal states. The aftermath meant the economy crashed and the country was left impoverished earning less then 719 GDP/per capita. However, after the Aiyoti Compromise, Aiyota, now unified, experienced unprecedented economic growth lasting from the early 940's to today. In 983 Aiyota had a record breaking GDP growth of 23.46%, largely due to discovery of minerals and oils east of Aisicio, construction in Kutosukon, Vikasa & Akarine and the lifting of many trade barriers with Aeridani as well as the finishing of 7 ports in Yoka Tse, opening up its manufacturing potential to the world by reducing transport costs (prior it had to use the Ansebulun-Kutosukon rail)

most of history: city states small empires yadda yadda
+
The Aiyoti Royal Family follows the Seru-Vêna system in which the next in line to the throne is the direct paternal descendant of the Vêna, or the direct maternal descendant of the Seru. The Seru is the "Mother" of the dynasty, while the Vêna is the father. Anyone who is a Seru or Vêna can technically claim the throne and become the Ako/Akoi, although this only happened once in Aiyoti History (see [[Rivesi's Claim to the Throne]].

"Empire age" : Three empires emerge (Vikasani, Saghi and Aisici) and begin to colonise the east Serkr, using many islands as "Triple r stops (refuelling, restoration, recreation")". Each of these empires took a different path, but eventually arrived at the west Serkr and southeast Himalia, first Vikasa, then Saghi, then Aisicio. They each set up many ports, colonies and Triple r stops (collectively called "3s"), and they each had their dominant region.

Aisicio being far south Serkr + Naussikkak and Sagua + small settlements in east Loviniosa, Saghi being a large portion of the remaining Serkr and bay Himalia, and Vikasa being a few Serkr islands + Southeast Himalia.
+
=== Habanyero Dynasty ===

Soon many conflicts arrive in these colonies, in themselves, across other colonies and with other empires, especially the Aeridanish and Auspik empires. To stop this, the emperors and empresses of Saghi, Vikasa and Aisicio met in Saghi and made the decision to unify the three empires into "The Aiyoti Tri-union". This system would unify them politically to avoid conflict, and would share military, resources etc. when in need.
+
=== Erugada-Isyioni Dynasty ===
The distribution of wealth from all the 3s's was uneven with Vikasa and Saghi became much more prosperous gaining large amounts of Himalia and a few bits of the Serkr, as well as colonizing the issagga-saguan coastline.

However Aisicio began to lose its "Naussagua" 3s, due to the capture of them by the Auspiks, Blaists and a few Darvincians. Aisicio still retained a firm grip on Akaji, Bárstetkses and Teralm.

Aiyota (Alternatively Aiota) is a country in the southern part of Arioko. It has a population of just under 200 million (over 150 million of which are situated on the Akarine-Kovotei Belt), ranking it the 6th most populous nation. The country is consisted of an archipelago and almost completed surrounded by the Serkr and the Mádditervaisi, sharing a land border with Aeridani on the Unity Bridge. The country is among the densest in the world (that is not a city state) at 123.2 ppl/sqkm. The Kovotei belt is ~900ppl/sqkm and Vikasa is too dense to mention.

Etymology

It is not quite certain how the name Aiyota came to be, although there are 2 main theories. The first is that it comes from 'ayo-ta, meaning "He speaks culture" (hard to translate). Another theory is that it comes from Lysteriok, specifically Dotruga, it was made of "Ai" - the name already used by Ethanthovan settlements in the north to refer to native Arioki combined with the common Oka suffix -ota this eventually shifted to Aiyota.

Cuisine

Aiyoti cuisine consists of two staple foods; Vuomanoriden ("dry season grain") and Telomanoriden ("water season grain"). They are the equivalents of wheat and rice, respectively. Sakagheda, Sakaghelo, Surizemi and Chekito are also extremely prevalent.
