The Nausikkak Meteorological Collaboration is an international cooperative organization and warning agency with membership from various nations on the continent of Nausikkak. The NMC is composed of member organizations which are national warning centers of cooperating nations and the Tropical Cyclone Center in Zeilunavka, Solea, which warn independently of each other but cooperate under similar standards for increased preparation against and communication during weather-related dangers.

Satellites

Full-disk imaging satellites

NAUSIKKAK-1 geostationary, centered over ~western Blaland
NAUSIKKAK-2 geostationary, centered over ~Atholeik Peninsula
NAUSIKKAK-3 geostationary, centered over ~Nausikkak Sea
NAUSIKKAK-4 geostationary, backup, eastern
NAUSIKKAK-5 geostationary, backup, western

Other satellites

The NMC also has an array of low Univeralis orbiting satellites which collect data and measurements on soil, vegetation, seawater, wind, and aerosols.

Cyclone scale

Cyclones' intensities in the South Serkr Ocean basin are officialy measured in Soleani units rounded to the nearest five. Wind speed measurements are also converted to international units for both official and public use, in advisories issued by the Saelunavvk Tropical Cyclone Center.

Classification English translation Wind speed (Soleani) Wind speed (International) Wind speed (Earth)
ikpaga Monsoon/storm 25 kpg/Bs – 40 kpg/Bs 20 kt – 30 kt
ikpaga andaɰ Strong Monsoon/storm 45 kpg/Bs – 60 kpg/Bs 35 kt – 45 kt
taníkapąga Veiled-eye Storm 65 kpg/Bs – 80 kpg/Bs 50 kt – 60 kt
šunokįka Cyclone 85 kpg/Bs – 105 kpg/Bs 65 kt – 80 kt
šunokįka andaɰ Strong Cyclone 110 kpg/Bs – 130 kpg/Bs 85 kt – 100 kt
šunokįka keleŋu Intense Cyclone 135 kpg/Bs – 155 kpg/Bs 105 kt – 120 kt
šunokįka tuku Extreme Cyclone 160 kpg/Bs – 180 kpg/Bs* 125 kt – 140 kt

* The šunokįka tuku category, operationally, has no upper limit. Storms with winds >180 kpg/Bs are classified as šunokįka tuku.
