The Late Social Justice Wars were a series of wars, lasting 15 years, initiated by Blaist Blaland. Its name refers to Blaist Blaland justifying the war to liberate the oppressed in the attacked states, resembling the ancient Social Justice Wars fought between pro- and anti-gay tribes. The Blaist state military was supported by almost half a million gay warrior volunteers known as the Blaist Blaland Blood Band. Blaist Blaland's early attacks pitted some smaller societies against each other and quickly advanced in the north. Soon the entire eastern hemisphere formed an alliance against Blaist Blaland, leading to the Siege of Sovkax and temporary occupation of Blaist Blaland's eastern territories, but the attacks were ultimately repelled. The Blaist campaign was successful in annexing most of the lands, but reached a stalemate by the southern mountains in the modern Red Rainbow around 640, which was also protected by a strong fleet Blaist Blaland couldn't match at the time.
An animation of the battle front can be seen below. Blaist Blaland is shown in green, allies in blue, countries at peace in yellow and the opposition in red.
