Blaism
Blaism is an ideology founded by Bla and the official ideology of Blaist Blaland, giving name to the country.
Core Principles
Blaism is a revolutionary ideology with respect to capitalism and the modern form, Blaist Communism, aims to create a classless society based on direct-democracy and common ownership, and the replacement of human work with technology, enabling distribution based on need. The ideology's answer to how this goal is achieved is a revolution overthrowing the capitalist state, replacing it with a new Blaist state, governed by the principles of Blaist Socialism: Putting the means of production under state control, seizing the wealth of the capitalists, closing workplaces counterproductive to the ideological goals and replacing the market mechanisms with central planning, where wages are proportional to time and intensity of performed work.
Early Blaism
Blaism as it was originally founded by Bla, was militaristic and expansionistic, and sought to conquer land from others with the ultimate goal of uniting the world under Blaism. These views led the city state of Blanaxon to eventually conquer the surrounding land and form Blaist Blaland. The Blaist Communist Party over time shifted towards a more pacifist ideology however, as other socialist countries developed to cooperate with, and the invention of nuclear weapons making world conquest by traditionary military an unrealistic goal - shifting responsibility to local revolutionaries coming from within the capitalist countries.
