The Land of the Red Rainbow
The Glorious Armed Proletariat of The Land of the Red Rainbow is a totalitarian and militaristic socialist country situated firmly on a peninsula northeast of Blaist Blaland. Its people enjoy a relatively high standard of living, although the country isn't quite as developed as Blaist Blaland, especially not in the civillian sector. The country places a high emphasis on its military; the military sector makes up more than 25% of the country's economy, and the country has developed several nuclear weapons. On the international scene, the country acts as a guardian of gay rights, showing no restraint to threaten and obliterate zones or smaller countries that don't give in to its demands for justice. The country also serves as a guardian for Blaist Blaland and other countries in the communist bloc.

History
The fall of the Nausikkak empire in -293 left the peninsula in anarchy. This lasted for several decades with tribal wars and raids depleting the peninsula of life and infrastructure, before one tribe managed to conquer the others and formed an empire spanning down to the southern mountains. Meanwhile, Blaist Blaland was expanding rapidly in the west - feeling alarmed, the empire grew increasingly militaristic and closed its society to outside influence. The southern mountain passes were blocked securely with large walls, and watch towers were built along the coasts. The empire lived on in relative quietness, with little information escaping into the outside world for centuries. But eventually, rumors made their way into Blaist Blaland and other countries about a deeply oppressive country where people were sent to prisons and labor camps for their race or for homosexuality. Blaist Blaland launched a big spy campaign and found evidence of the rumors, and soon began to send in agents to infiltrate the camps. Not long after, spontaneous revolts began in a northern camp near the city Kolag. Intensifying guerilla wars follows, eventually escalating into a full scale war as gays from Blaist Blaland (which had over 10 times the country's population) travelled into the empire to liberate the oppressed. The war between the Gay Liberation Front in the north and reinforcements loyal to the empire eventually stalled, but then a second front opened up after a spontaneous revolt in the southern city Radugrad. It is said a red rainbow showed up in the sky, as it was raining blood. (This is considered the origin of Gaytheism). The old rule eventually collapsed, and the new gay armies, allied with warriors loyal to Blaist-inspired ideologies, seized power.
Geography
The northeastern areas are forested, and most of the country is dominated by hills and mountains. As a result, most of the central parts are rather desolate and similar to desert, but the coasts are rather fertile. The country is known for its large mining industry, and many large cities are literally built inside the mountains, both for defensive reasons during the country's war-torn history and for mining valuable ores inside the mountains.
Government
The Land of the Red Rainbow is ruled by Mikkel Sikkel, who holds supreme power over the country. He is at the top of a communist party which is tasked with the rest of the administration of all aspects of the country.
Economy
The Land of the Red Rainbow has a planned economy which is very similar to that of Blaist Blaland in organization. The most notable differencies are Red Rainbow's high focus on the military and being historically less prosperous than Blaist Blaland, meaning living standards are somewhat lower.
Culture
Red Rainbow is internationally known for its military choir and band, the Red Rainbow Army Choir.
