<Darvince> kalassak that matriarchal tribe with big dicks should be its own country

The Matriarchy of Tepodi /t̪ɛpʌd̪i/ is a sovereign nation in Amalthea, and a member of the Free Federation. It historically has roots as an Amalthean tribe on the western fringes of the Soleani ethnolinguistic group, and was never fully integrated into the Soleani Tribal Confederation. Instead, it was governed with a high degree of autonomy and benign neglect. It gained de jure independence from Solea with the creation of the Free Federation in 922.

Tepodi is officially a federal matriarchy, ruled by Queen Pisewaktenafi II. From as early as the 25th century BG, until conquest by the Soleani in 540, Tepodi has been governmentally run by a female head of state, usually a divine absolute monarch. Though in 922, when Tepodi gained independence with the re-definition of borders with the creation of the Free Federation, it became a federal matriarchy, where the power of the matriarch was limited, and a democratic form of government was instituted to comply with the Free Federation.

History

Gender roles

Possibly as a result of a strict form of the uŋítheka religion part of Tepodani culture, females were considered far more superior, more capable, and more important than males in the region of Tepodi.
