Dotruga
The Republic of Dotruga, commonly known as Dotruga or Tutono, is a federal republic located in Northern Lysteriok. It is divided into [number] districts, [number] sub-districts and a capital district which holds the capital of the country, Naskitrusk. With a stable economy and output, it is one of the richer nations on Universalis. It is a developed nation with potential to grasp onto a world power status in the near future. Its neighbors are Ethanthova, Timbalta, Elvine, De Laflelle, and Bielosia. The nation has both been influenced by and influenced many nations in the region, and this connection has led to a regional alliance which has solidified the nation and its neighbors.

Etymology
Dotruga possibly derives from the ancient Okan word "Dosura" which means "forest." The Okan culture flourished in Southern Dotruga around 1-5 thousand years ago.
History
Pre-Dotrugan Period
Before Ethanthovans settled into Northern Lysteriok, tribal groups existed throughout Tutono. They migrated from Bielosia 30-40 thousand years ago. Very few tribes, such as the Okan Tribe, were rather ahead of their time when it came to culture, government, and science. They developed advanced astronomical tools, quality medicine, and a system of checks and balances.
The Okan Confederacy
The Okans started out as a small tribal group that lived in the forested areas of Southern Dotruga around 40 thousand years ago. They were a nomadic group that migrated from Bielosia 10-20 thousand years ago. Their increasing understanding of nature, advanced government structure, and medicine helped the Okans spread their influence and power across many tribes in Dotruga. Their religion was solely based on the idea of "helping" non-followers with the sole purpose of cleansing their soul with new information and enlightening them about the New Realm. The Okans believed that their knowledge, intelligence, and sole niche was a gift from their god, Nugota. Instead of aggressive conquering, they taught local tribes about the nature of Universalis, Space, and their religion. Most tribes embraced the knowldege and joined the effort. Others fiercely rejected their ideas and even threatened them. In 749 BC, the Okan Confederation was formed, comprising of Oka, Iklo, Somota, Umer, and other tribes. The Okan culture continued to diffuse with other groups, which lead to a sense of unity. Its growth led to what formed as the Okan Empire.
The Okan Empire
The first elected Emperor, Danosus I, made the Okan Empire a cultural haven. He designed many architectural blueprints to be built in the capital city, most of which are still intact today and are popular tourist destinations.
Government
Dotruga's government is composed of two branches: the judicial branch and the administrative branch. Both branches are maintained with checks and balances, so one does not become more powerful than the other. The Administrative Branch, which is further divided into the 3 Chiefs and the Senate, is responsible for creating and and implementing laws. The Judicial Branch is responsible for checking laws to see if they abide by the constitution and 11 Codes of Law.

Culture
Dotruga's culture is vibrant and diverse, but shares a lot of general traditions and customs. Its culture stems from Ethanthovan tradition and a mixture of many native groups, such as Oka and Iklo. Although its culture is based on religion and spirituality, a good portion of Dotrugans are either agnostic or atheist. According to a study from last year, roughly 18% of Dotrugans are affiliated with a major religion, while another 42% are spiritual or follow a local religion. The remaining 40 percent are either atheist or agnostic. Local religions are mainly based on animism, or the belief that natural objects, such as plants or rocks, possess supernatural powers or are spiritual entities.
EDM
Dotruga is known for its prevalent EDM culture, having frequent raves and electronic dance events especially during holidays or festivals. Western Dotrugan cities, such as Naskitrusk, Venixa, and Okami, hold much bigger and pop-like music festivals while southern, northern, and eastern Dotruga holds more local festivals with more "urban" music, such as glitch hop. Festivals are held on holidays, work/school breaks, and even more personal events like birthdays and weddings. Dotruga's prevalence of EDM in its culture has dubbed it the Techno Capital of the World, and because of its popularity a lot of famous DJ's and music producers are actually from Dotruga.
The first likely EDM composition was created in 911 by Edga Hilosei, and was created using a bass synthesizer and a kick drum. It had a very quick melody and was among one of the first songs to have such a feature. In an interview, he stated "While experimenting with the synthesizer, I came across a very catchy melody I have never heard before. It almost felt like an invention, and I quickly embraced the new sound into my works." The bass synthesizer, invented a year earlier, was considered a useless and "experimental" instrument. Later to be known as the Father of EDM, Edga worked his entire life as a composer and experimental artist. While it is debatable whether or not Edga was actually the first person to compose an EDM-like song, it is certain that his popularity helped pushed the very new genre off the ground in the upcoming years.
Sports
Dotrugans mostly play Otxino, a sport that requires players to shoot a ball through a hoop, or Undoltx. Similar to Basketball, there are 5 players on each team, and the goal of the game is to score more points by the end of the game.
