Notes
Comet passed near bright globular cluster M3 a few hours earlier. Noted approximate horizon obstruction from observing site (Beluga Point) 26° to the north and 13° to the east. A lot more car headlights compared to last time, mostly on the highway. However, one vehicle in the parking lot had their headlights on virtually the entire time I was there. Fog/low stratus developed increasingly throughout the session, most evident on my drive back into town. Had problems with ball mounts being loose toward the end. Also, lost one of my lighter gloves somewhere.
