Helfest is a monthly singing competition held the census designated regions of Helvaena that was created by the Helvaena Broadcasting Network (HBN) after their withdrawal from the Univision Song Contest.

Each region submits a song to be performed on live television and radio. Each region then then casts votes for the other regions' songs via televoting and a professional jury to determine the most popular song in the competition.

Origins

Helfest was announced as a replacement for Univision after several editions of declining viewer watchtime and participation in Univision, despite many artists still wanting to perform on a large stage. All contests were to be held in the capital of Helvaena, Briovche. All 25 census designated regions participate.
