The Red Rainbow Revolution broke out in Kolag in 783, with rebels seizing weapon storages and freeing people from labor camps. They fought a mostly underground guerilla war in the start, hiding in the forests, but gained increased attention and sympathy from locals, with some spreading words of the events to Blaist Blaland. Thus the revolutionary armies grew and eventually the guerilla war turned into a full-scale war, which the revolutionary side, led by Mikkel Sikkel, won, creating The Land of the Red Rainbow. The northern parts of the country were devastated by the sabotages, and it took several years for the new country to recover from the losses. Hundreds of thousands of the anti-revolutionary forces captured during the war were sent to labor camps along with sympathizers of the old regime.
